Q. How can I find out about the Research Programme?
Details of our non-confidential research are published each year on the website. As well as project descriptions, you will find the name of the project leader so that, if you would like to know more, you can contact him or her for a discussion.
Q. What Reports are available?
New reports are now directly downloadable as a PDF and we normally notify Members of new reports in Food News. In addition, details of the last 10 years' Research Reports are posted on the Website along with ordering information. Please contact the Publications Department for details of older Reports or any queries.
Q. How do I suggest a Research Project?
Topics for Forum research are decided each year, usually in September. Input from Members is welcomed, so as to ensure that the research is relevant to as many Members as possible. Members will be able to suggest and vote for projects via our website, email, fax or letter. Sometimes, there is also the opportunity to take part in the research, by running trials, supplying commercial product for storage studies, etc. The final list of projects is agreed by the Research Advisory Commitee.
Q. How do I access the "Member Login" part of the Website to download reports directly?
You'll need a password for this. Any individual from a Member company can gain access; simply follow the instructions once you have clicked on Member Login.
