HelplineLeatherhead Food Research's Helpline provides our Members with answers to a wide range of queries , covering markets, scientific or technical subjects, or regulatory advice.

The service offers the ability to ask questions by phone, fax, letter, e-mail or through our Web site. Leatherhead's Members each have a free allocation of Helpline time, and we also offer a paid-for enquiry service to non-Members.

Working on your behalf, Helpline staff have access to enormous information resources - our technical database alone holds over 500,000 references. We continuously monitor changes in food law, technical developments (including patents) and the international trade press.

Leatherhead's professional, multi-disciplined team of scientific information specialists can provide help and advice with food safety and microbiological issues, insights into the properties and applications of specific ingredients, guidance on key health and nutrition trends, and help with product or process troubleshooting.

Alongside scientific expertise is a regulatory advisory service offering global regulatory consultancy that is second to none. The Regulatory information service provides our Members with on demand regulatory advice via our Helpline and website. Our team of 22 regulatory experts can help source specific information on food law, discuss interpretation, or provide you with a second opinion. The team is multi-lingual team and covers 25 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Hebrew, and can offer food law information spanning 140 countries.
